Welcome to EB. I assume you'll be picking one up since you've been waiting for the 8900 for a long time.

That is a pretty good deal T-Mobile's offering at the moment. Too bad I'm never in the market for a phone when they offer these deals. VZW BOGO, this TMo thing, etc.

Yup Tomorrow. I love this website I discovered two days ago so thank you for the welcome.

I'm excited for you, let us know what you think of the phone when you get it.

Also, glad you like the site.

That's pretty amazing that the 8900's Internet speed is comparable to VZW's 3G. That's definitely saying something. VZW's 3G is very fast. Great news IMO. I wonder if the 8-channel EDGE would work on AT&T if it was unlocked.

Well you read my longer version reply I deleted. I'm keeping in contact with Brother-in-law about performance comparing his personal 3g VzW to his work 8900.

    I will keep you updated.

Hi Thaiville and welcome to EB:

Glad you are excited about the new Curve and it looks like a great device. Also pleased you like the site so much.

Enjoy your time here and do visit and post often, but please do not double post. I am going to leave that one there as it is posted in the Curve section.

I look forward to seeing your impressions of this new device and I assume you will be posting later to keep us all aware of what you discover....

By the way, a better way to phrase it would be it is selling for $199 AFTER a $200 Instant Rebate and $100 mail-in.....

I don't want anyone to think that the cost will actually give them a refund of $100.01....

That's exactly what I understood at first but then I figured it out after re reading the OP's post.
