Not sure if you are aware, but if you are at the end of a sentence, simply press the Space bar twice and a period will be inserted and the next letter you type will be capitalized......

It didn't take me long to get over my old Q, I hated that thing. Question since we are on the topic of calendars...how do I sync multiple calendars with Google sync on my Blackberry?

The GoogleSync Application should give you the option of which calendar(s) you want to sync. With the GS app open > BB Menu key > Options.
Take a look here for guidance.
