Default Overcoming my Qness

I am slowly getting the hang of my Curve. I have custom ring tones and pictures for my contacts. I've managed to get one of my cool HALO images to work well with the themes. I've managed to turn off my data to keep from having my phone get mail when I am sitting in from of my PC. The only thing that I have not overcome is a difficulty in getting my 'berry to sync with Outlook Calender. The Contacts and Tasks synced without a problem. I've contacted VZW about it and I am up to Tier 2. I'll let you know.

What problem are you having with Calendar? I don't recall seeing you post about that....

Glad your experience has been pretty good so far....

No error messages. I am looking at my calender and I show lots of events coming in the next month. But, none of them get to my 'berry.

Just for giggles, how many email accounts do you have activated on the BB? Each one has a calendar associated with them.

I wonder if your appointments are going to the wrong calendar?

Go to Options > Advanced Options > Default Services > what email account is listed as the default account for the Calendar? Is it the one you expect to be?

Now open your Calendar application > BB Menu key > Select Calendar > Which is listed first on the list? Does it match what you expect?

Scroll through each Calendar just to see if any of the missing appointments have been synced with the wrong calendar.

Anything?

OMG!!! You are a genius. I checked the default calendar and it was set to Facebook (I have no idea why!) I changed it to one of the email addresses I monitor in Outlook. Guess what? It freaking worked!!!!

Thanks a million Taz!!! You need to post this on a sticky!!!!!

P.S.

I'll thank you when I get enough posts!

That is not uncommon and I should have remembered to ask if you had installed FaceBook.

For some reason it overwrites your desired setting. It may happen again, but at least you will know where to go now.

Now if only the Tier Two Techs knew.....

I am doing quit well with my Curve. I saw some one using a Q yesterday and it made me miss my Q. The only issue I am really having is the arrangement of the keys and symbols. I hate having to shift to use a period. But, it is working out.
