Here we go again....

Stronger than what? Did you have a different phone on Sprint before the Curve and did you get a stronger signal then?

Did you used to get four bars on the Curve and now you get three? Is your signal displaying 1XEV or just 1xev (in lower case letters)?

Is your phone roaming too much?

If the problem is weak signals while roaming, you can call Sprint and ask them to flag your phone account for a PRL (Preferred Roaming List) update. Once flagged you dial *2. This updates your handset to know which roaming towers to use.

There is another code to dial that may help and that is to dial *18, which resyncs your phone with the local towers. After you dial it you will hear a series of tones and you should hang up. Note that you will only see a difference if the reason your signal was weak is if you were out of sync for some reason.

If none of that helps you may just be in a weak signal area and you may need to purchase a repeater to use in your house. If your signal is poor wherever you go it is possible you have a defective Curve and you should call Customer Service to work with them to diagnose the problem....

Let's see if you try any of this and respond or if you will post the same question in another thread....
