I'm assuming yes but but would like some clarification, are backberries tri-band by that I mean do they work in the US and Uk, I remeber a while back it was an issue?

It was in the dawn of time that Blackberrys were not tri-band, to the best of my knowledge all off thier range are tri-band - they won't work in Japan though

Out of curiosity why will the not work in Japan?
