Question Windows Live Search

I have migrated over from a Moto Q9m to a 8130 Pearl. One application I can't live without is Windows Live Search (free OTA download at wls.live.com). The only problem is that the Blackberry version doesn't have a gas prices option like the windows version. Anyone know what's up with that?

That is a question I have seen pop up around and there doesn't seem to be an answer.

I did find this note in an MS blog from October 2007:
** The BlackBerry version provides local business search, mapping location, getting movie showtimes and traffic information. It does not include voice input, gas prices, business ratings and hours of operation at this time.
Just for laughs I shot off an email to their Feedback mailbox. Let's see if they respond...

Hi girlybb:

Just thought I would update and let you know I did not hear anything back, but I don't that should be a surprise as a feedback page may be used to cull information, but responding would probably be very difficult.

I also wanted to thank you for pointing me there as I have developed a real like for Windows Live on my BB.

I posted a blurb in the Software Forum also.

I hope all is well,
SteveTaz

Hi girlybb:

I just tried a newer search, Where. It has a gas widget and seems to be pretty accurate, but I am traveling and will be testing on my way to the airport tomorrow to return the rental car.

Looks very promising....I added to the Free Software sticky and the Favorite Sites sticky:
http://where.com/jin/welcome.jin Similar to Live Search BUT INCLUDES A GAS WIDGET. I am on Ohio and will test on the way to the airport for the rental refill. For an OTA install, go to mobile.blackberry.com > Applications >Travel & Mapping > Where. The GasBuddy widget was included by default.

I remembered you were looking for gas....
