Hi Scott:
Welcome to EB and I am sorry for the delay in welcoming you....I have been knocked around by my first cold in more than a year.
Any way, I am here after using a Treo for more than three years and frankly, I do not miss the Treo. There was an adjustment and the BB platform is a bit odd after using the Palm OS for 10+ years and Windows for too long, but it has actually gone pretty darned well.
I think you will enjoy having a device that doesn't crash. I know I am....That does not mean there aren't issues and challenges though.
I hope you enjoy your time with us....

Howdy Scott and welcome! hopefully more of you Q guys migrate over here
I do remember seeing you and rudeboy over there.
I spent a while at EQ as aggieman before I jumped to the iPhone and EIC. I still spend a lot of time there, but I have sold my iPhone and moved over to the Blackberry Bold. Ive only had it for a few weeks but I can't recall liking a phone this much. That includes both iPhones, the Q, Treo 755p, Tilt, N95, N82, E71, and E90.

Hey Hockey, I thought I recognized that moniker from EQ, activity around here's really picking up, welcome to the BB world, I've been maxing the usage out on my Pearl for almost a year now and I couldn't think of going without it now, much more useful and practical from a business standpoint than my Q, the only thing I miss is Extreme Agenda as the BB calendar is lacking advanced features. Good to see you here, you'll find that SteveTaz is on the ball with helpful hints most all of time, the occasional cold not withstanding, and I'm sure he'll come back letting me know how long it's been since I've posted!

braxtoq!!! Where 'ya been. It's almost been a month I think...
Travel been heavy? Mine has picked up. Chicago last week, Cleveland and Columbus next week, back for four days and then off to Cabo San Lucas for two glorious weeks. Provided they don't get leveled by a hurricane.
I expect you to help pick up the slack as I will have limited to no Internet access while I test all the various Margaritas in Cabo.
Don't be a stranger....

Cabo? I'm jealous.
Just stay away from Don Julio. I'm still hurting and I've been back from my honeymoon for 2 months now

This will be our seventh year. We have two timeshares. The one we have longest is Playa Grande right in the Marina, literally next to the arch (El Arco). This is the tip of the Baja where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific.
The other is one we bought on spec last year and is another stunner, but on the other side of Cabo at the start of the "Corridor". Sits on a bluff and overlooks the Marina and El Arco. Hacienda Encantada is the name.
Cabo is a stunning place and you couldn't ask for a better climate, infrequent hurricanes not withstanding. We have found the climate to be very similar to Hawaii, but five hours closer. That is important since we are coming from NY.
If you are interested, here is a link to my website with some pictures for a few of the trips as well as a bunch of other stuff probably boring to others, but I am amused.
Regards,
SteveTaz
