For those of you who don't know me, I'm a Guru over at EverythingQ.

Just passing through...

I've been on a side mission to bring the BB Home Screen "pop" over to EQ, so I'll be sniffing through threads and whatnot for ideas and graphics.

Who knows...maybe I'll post some too! But we'll see...

Nope. For one, since I'm on my SERO 500 plan, only a certain few phones from Sprint I can upgrade to, and I'm only one year into the plan.

Plus, BB's are great, but the Q is sorta unique for me to have, which I like.

For some reason, I keep getting email notifications from post replies here even though I turned off subscription emails in the options. Weird.

does yours do BB messenger? or push alerts for myspace or facebook messages? the native BB myspace and facebook apps will give you message notices on screen when you get messages. Also I've found that the media player on my BB is much better than the one on my Q I had, and of course the full HTML browser on the Storm and Bold is really only surpassed by Safari and the S60 browser of symbian phones. Opera Mini is okay but I don't think it is as good.

I very rarely do the facebook/myspace thing...The BB text? Well, helpless hubby hasn't done any of that...

Browser: try Skyfire on the Q. Management? Dashwire is great for backups.

I'll give you the native media player...kind of sucks...TCPMP works well. Kinoma Play? Also good.

Since I have you, may as well ask a BB question...My hubby is the president of our HOA, and as such, gets tons of e-mail. While it is great that this is pushed immediately to BB, how can he "stop it"? If he is at his pc or laptop, & deletes the mail, it is still on handheld.

I know from handheld he can delete from both phone and server, but he want to know how to handle it if he checked it from pc...on pc(he doesn't use a mail management system, instead he logs on directly to web address) and he moves important mail to folders and deletes the rest...how can you get it deleted from BB?

Howdy! Still shopping for Chanukah party tomorrow...son is home starving! (I'm a bad mother...but I did get him the Wii game he wanted, so I'll be redeemed tomorrow...)
