Default Re-Intro to Moi ;-)

I did this before in fact I had forgotten that my first intro was the catalyst of this topic thread lol.

http://www.everythingberry.com/forum...tions-186.html

So now I have my own Blackberry (loving it by the way) and will be most likely lurking about from time to time.

My impression so far is that my I got way more than I paid for (we got two Curves for 50 bucks) I knew that new phones were coming down the pike had new every two and a buy one get one offer. I can live with this phone for two years at least (thought I would like to update the os and BBM)

So yeah...get used to it I am wordy lol

Welcome to the darkside, well I guess perhaps if you got an iPhone that might be considered the darkside.

Big switch going from WM to BB. Hard to go wrong with the Curve. Great form factor and still one of my favorite QWERTY keyboards. That price is phenomenal.

Welcome aboard and look forward to your seeing you around.

Welcome back cheri and congrats on the Curves. They are great devices and I think you will be happy.

Glad to see you decided to join us on hopefully a more permanent basis....

Well initially my friend was supposed to get a BB via her work, that was put off and my son bought a storm (he may be lurking here who knows ;-)
I am sure I will be around as long as I have a BlackBerry any way lol

Welcome to EB, cheri. It's hard to give up a Q. I did it myself. I've got a Curve now and I almost have it figured out. My biggest thrill was to find out that you can assign individual ring tones, contrary to what I had been told. WooHoo!

Formerly, My-Q!

Thank you :-)
Hey I have had to restrain myself from doing any "hackery" since I really really need my phone lol.

Glad you got your ring tone thing figured out :-)

Moving from the Q wasnt so terrible. Plus mine was getting really worn out. The face plate over the D-pad kept peeling off lol

I am wondering how much hacking you are going to do on your Curve.

Its a new phone and a new os so doubtful it will be much. I am toying around with the idea of updating the os BUT my Curve is an MEID seems to be less information (and os updates at least "official vzw" updates) people say it's easy but then if you phone bricks you are pretty much S.O.L and get to have the fun of either reviving a Dead Berry or waiting for a replacement.

I am much more familiar with the "windows" environment so that is one thing that hinders my toying too much with my phone.

I'm not to hip on changing the os. It works and I don't know enough about it yet to start fooling around with it.
