    BlackBerry Media Sync for Mac

BGR has posted some screenshots of BlackBerry Media Sync for Mac. This is very exciting news for me as I love my Mac and love my BlackBerry Bold but find myself having to use my HP laptop to sync with my Bold. I must say the screenshots look very nice. It looks as if RIM has put alot of work into this and is realizing that they will have to step up their compatibility with Macs not to lose alot of potential customers to iPhones as the iPhone works beautifully with the Mac.

Oh my god, I just found out about this. I almost jumped for joy! I guess I don't need to get a new ipod after all!

I'm done with iPods. I find the sound from the Bold to actually be as good as if not better than the iPhone's. The Storm isn't quite as loud and robust as the Bold. I'm struggling with this, I have to take my Bold back today...i've never been so sad to give up a phone

I'm bummed because the software isn't available for mac yet. There were a bunch of articles with screen shots in the beginning of October, so I hope that the release is close!

This does look pretty awesome. The problem is the DRM iTunes protected music. When I can, I buy from Amazon and iTunes Plus, but I still have a lot of iTunes music. There has to be a program that converts your library. For Mac owners, it's tough to duplicate the iPhone experience.

Thats what happens when aggie tries to force himself to like a phone. Its hard enough to keep him happy when he actually loves a phone!

I've burned all my iTunes music to CD and then ripped it into mp3 format. The problem is on a Mac I can't get my Blackberry to show up as a drive so I've been having to send all my files via Bluetooth. I guess I need to go buy a cheap memory card USB reader as my MacBook doesn't have a SD slot.

I've pretty much converted to buying from Amazon only. With most songs being .79 you simply can't beat it!

LOL you may be right. I'm really struggling with it as I love both phones. .75 has tremendously improved the storm but the Bold keyboard is unbelievable. What has me leaning towards the Storm is that I feel it will be a better experience in the long run provided RIM continues to work on its issues. I think there is going to be alot of development for the Storm whereas the Bold will play second fiddle. And also now that I've got a taste of Verizon again its hard to give that up.

So all you have to do is burn them to a cd and then re-import them into itunes?
