DM For MAC Is Available,....

so, i had been using my Bold 9000 for work only, and thus, no loading of media as I was using my iPhone for that. Now that I have the 9700, I'm loading all my music onto it. Is it just me or is DM for Mac worthless for transferring songs from itunes to BB. I know it wont transfer DRM protected tunes, but it appears even ones bought since Apple dropped DRM won't transfer. I love my Mac but sometimes all the troubles with syncing devices doesn't seem worth it!

I'm using the DM app. It has a tab for music sync so I know it does it. Just not sure if itunes music plays nice with it. Haven't had much time to play with it. Hopefully during some of the time off during the holiday week ill be able to get to the bottom of it!

Look into a separate download of Media Sync. I hear it works wonderfully with iTunes. Unless you are a Dallas fan...

Seriously, I know the Media Sync D/L for PC versions is wrapped up in DM or available separately...Not sure about Mac....

yeah I may dust off the ole HP laptop and give it a shot with Media Sync. It appears to me the Mac DM is still far (and that is an understatement) behind the PC version.

That may be, but the Mac DM interface is much nicer....

as is everything Apple, but the functionality isn't always up to par

that said, I got to spend very little time messing with it and researching. I hope I get to spend more time this week with it.

As with everything else, it takes time. I am sure it will get better. But for RIM's first attempt, it's not too bad. I just hope they don't decide that since they finally gave us Mac users something, that it's good enough.

That hasn't been their routine with much up to now. They love to tinker, but time will tell.....
