Default MacandBerry...

I hope we can get a good flow of info on this board. I'll be getting my BB Curve when T-Mo announces it and I happen to be an avid Mac user.

I'll be around.

How do the two work together. Can you tell me more about this. I am glad to see that they are finally getting things that will work more closely with macs.

I have a MBP and both the BB Curve 8310 & BB 8820. Currently I am using VMware Fusion to run Windows XP and the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, but you can go the native MAC route as well

BlackBerry is providing PocketMac for BlackBerry for FREE, goto www.pocketmac.net and click on the BlackBerry sync app. You will have to confirm some BB info.

You can also go with the MissingSync from MarkSpace www.markspace.com. I have used their apps with the WinMobile side and they work pretty well. The issue I am reading right now in their forums is some are having issues and some are not. Its only release 1.03 so I would wait and see if you can before jumping. You can run PocketMac for FREE so give it a try.

Remember you will need the .alx file to install it on the BB device since the MAC does not like to install .exe even with File Juicer you may or may not get the .alx files to unpack.

Thanks for the info. Nice to see you hear on EB. I'm using both the Q 9h and the BlackBerry Curve 8310. I set up Windows Mobile Device Center on my DELL for the 9h, but most of my contacts are in address book. I'm going to try and set up my Curve with PocketMac.

Default New to Everything Blackberry

New to this site.
Just purchased a Blackberry Curve.
Have a Mac with OS 10.3.9
Unsure how to successfully sync donwload apps from Mac to Curve.
Should I attempt to download the entire folder or just the .alx ones or all the pieces within the folder?
Appreciate all your experienced users input.
Thanks

I don't believe so... try downloading PocketMac directly from RIM. It's a free solution. As mentioned above, you could try Missing Sync if PocketMac doesn't work out for you.
