Post Missing Sync 2.0

Since this forum seems to have gone quiet, I thought I'd see if anyone has upgraded to MS 2.0 since it's release last week. I migrated on Sunday. Had to manually enter the OTA link (actual link was missing in my email) to get the BB portion of the upgrade, but other than that, all went smoothly. Ended up turning off the Automatic Bluetooth Sync since it got annoying popping up on my Mac every 10 minutes. One can set the sync frequency, but I just turned it off. If I turn on BT on the Mac and BB, then they can do their thing. I've had so-so luck getting things to actually Sync, sometimes I get double stuff and sometimes it all gets deleted, so I've been very selective on letting it actually sync. Music sync has been great, I've stopped using my iPod since all I use is Shuffle. Photo sync was spotty until I got one for one folder structures on the Mac & BB. I like the folder sync since I keep a few Excel files on the BB that I move around a lot between the Mac and BB. Now I let them sync when I turn on BT.

Just wondering how others are faring?

Greg

Hi, greg
I own blackberry bold and a iphone 3g and I have no problem syncing them on my pc.
However, within few weeks, my new 17 inch macbook pro is coming... And I was worried about my bb bold...
I heard there was no actual program like desktop manager.
How is the missingsync and is it even similar to desktop manager like upgrading OS and etc?
Thanks!

ktownerxx213, Steve and I already answered part of your question. You CANNOT install or upgrade OS' in anything other than Desktop Manager.

Mac users are currently not able to unless we use BootCamp or Parallels and install Windows XP or Vista to the machine.

Since this thread was started for Missing Sync, any further questions should be taken here.

Default MS 2.0 works great so far

I installed MS 2.0 recently. Everything went according to plan and everything has worked up to this point. I don't expect any problems to occur. Since past releases have always been rather smooth this release also seems just right.
Hope you are able to find the issues and fix them between your Mac and your BB.
