BlackBerry Curve 8520
Hello guys,
I would like to know your opinion about this phone http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_curve_8520-2889.php
I have owned the curve 8900 not long ago and it was a brilliant phone. Not only because of its features, but most importantly because of its appearance, weight, and size, which were SUPERB.
What is the difference between both phones? I don't really notice any. Which is more expensive? I bought the Curve like four or five months ago for the same price I am buying this one now.
I am offered a brand new officially unlocked one for $403. What do you think? And also, are there any non-spec-sheet differences between both phones? I currently own an iPhone 3G (for the second time) and it, of course, is an impressive phone, but I get bored fast and I like to change so I am thinking about this blackberry.
Thank you very much and I'm sorry if this isn't the right section - I am sure it isn't - but I know that off topic usually has more people.

I forgot to mention that I am offered a BlackBerry Curve 8900 brand new for that price as well. I just realized the 8900 has a better camera and some other specs. The trackball is amazing, but in the 8520 it's different, is it good?
Which one should I buy?
EDIT - I just found a BlackBerry Bold 9000 used for 2 days to try and it's $400. What do you think?

If you have done any homework I think you will find that most will say the 8520 is a lower-end device than the 8900. The biggest differences are that the 8900 has a bigger screen (2.64 inches vs 2.4 inches), higher resolution (480x360 vs 320x240), better battery life and a better camera (3.2MP camera with flash vs 2.0MP no flash I think).
The 8520 does have the new track pad instead of the 8900's trackball. Neither has 3G.

Thanks for your thorough reply. I guess I should go for the 8900 again, then. But what do you think about the Bold? I've never tried it but I've seen it with someone before and I think it's big. Or is it a good size? Because I hate big phones that don't fit well in pockets.

Welcome to EB Tarek... The Bold is great, but it is a bit wide. The Curve, IMHO, is a perfect size and pocketable. The 8900 gets all the Bold improvements, but in a slimmer form factor.
