Oh yeah. Best Buy's Verizon activation site was dowm nationwide, so it took forever. The guy asked me a ton of questions. Why are you buying the Storm? Are you sure you don't want insurance? I don't understand why you don't want me to activate the phone? After seeing my company name on my credit card, he disappeared. When he came back, he asked if I was a reseller. I came close to not even being able to buy the dopey thing. I assured him that I was nothing more than a "blogger" and wanted to do a ritual unboxing. He finally left me alone and I went on my way.
Here's the bonus. While I was waiting for him (while he was waiting for Verizon), I saw a Best Buy staff member carrying a Wii Fit. I followed her and she had already handed it off to another customer. I asked if she had more in stock, but she said that was the last one. What ensued was pure mayhem. About 7 Best Buy reps surrounded this guy and explained that he couldn't buy the Wii Fit. Apparently, he was in earlier to buy one and was hoping to score WiiFit #2. He then tried to phone a friend and have them buy it. They told him "no way and finally asked him to hand over the Wii Fit". I just stood there and took it all in. After about 5 minutes, he caved in and I merrily went back to BB Mobile, Wii Fit in hand. My wife has been asking for it, so I was able to get an early start on my Christmas shopping.

Nice nab on the Wii Fit. I've been trying to get my hands on one of them for a couple months now. I'm in Wyoming, and I think they only sent three of them out this way, and we could really use some more. I've never seen so many large people in my life! (No offense to anyone who may be from WY also).

Lol sounds like you had quite the adventure at best buy. Double lucky getting a storm and wii fit.
I can't believe he gave you the third degree while purchasing the phone. I would expect it in verizon stores but not best buy. So did you activate it yourself when you got home?
As for the social, I'm really impressed. Its starting to take off over at eic. "Welcome to the social!"

ugh for some reason here and at EIC I am unable to upload an avatar for Social. I keep trying to load from my computer and I get a box saying that file type is not supported or saying empty file or invalid file type, even though I've selected a file from my computer.
