Yeah man, any loss is a good start. I am only shooting for like 2 lbs a week or so. I can get a lot of excersize in while I'm at home, but when I'm on the road, there isn't a lot I can do behind a steering wheel. My big goal on the road is to avoid BK and Wendy's in favor of stuff like Subway.

After just a couple days of eating better, and working out, I already feel better, and I'm sleeping way better at night, which is a huge battle for me

Good luck everyone

I'm actually finding the hardest part to be motivating to move my coffee table in my living room so i can use the Wii Fit. Maybe I'll just get rid of the coffee table....

Battle won!

lol, Yeah I can see how that would be difficult. We have our living room set up almost perfect for the Wii Fit, I just wish the TV sat a little higher on the wall so that I didn't have to stare down at it. Maybe I'll tell my wife I need a bigger TV

hehehe...that works!

No, I have a rather large coffee table. I was stubborn, it was cheap, and I didn't measure. hehehehehe

I plan to get rid of it soon in favor of something that "fits," but I need money to do that, first. So every night I say I'm gonna do the Wii Fit and then I look at the coffee table and say...."tomorrow."

hehehehehe

Yup, you are a true guy. Any reason to buy a new TV. And, yes, I know the struggles of trying to lose weight while on the road. I have quit the fast food, bring my own lunch, and when I want something salty now, I grab a small pack of peanuts or cashews.

I just quit smoking too, so for the salt, I go for sunflower seeds. The salt on them isn't the best thing for me, but it is probably better then grabbing a pack of Marlboros in the long run

If you drink plenty of water to help the kidneys, salt shouldn't be that big of a concern.

Also found that I am now going through a lot more gum.

Hey Karen, what's going on with the diet? Are you making progress?

And what's the latest on the school budgets?

Long time no hear....

Hey Steve....

Yeah, sorry, been really busy. I'm down about 6-7 pounds still on the diet. It's driving me slightly nuts as I'm hardly eating anything I enjoy. :P hehehehe

And as for the school budget, my job is safe for next year. They say next year is going to be worse though....but I'm trying not to focus on that.
