SteveTaz's Bathroom Remodel Thread...

Well, totaled up the receipts and I am at $4100, but that includes $200 for a tool. Dropped another $300 today for the Shower Faucet/Bath Spout, drain assembly and lighting fixture over the vanity.

Found a nice Kohler Shower Door, but of course it is a special order item, another $350 or so. Going to shop on-line before committing at Lowes. I will have to get the order in because as of today delivery won't be until May 14. I should actually be completed just before that....Hopefully.

Looks like I could be easily be nudging or exceeding the $5k mark for materials by the time I am actually done. Still no towel bars, hooks, accessories and the like. I also decided to change the door and door frame too.

I only plan on doing this once so, what the heck, eh?

I do plan on posting pictures before, during and after....Thanks for all the comments....

Good, can't wait to see. BTW, if you are going to do something like this, gotta do it right. If you can afford to do it, might as well go all out.

Hey, Steve, when you get done with the remodel, are we going to see pictures? After seeing that vanity, I am curious how the total design is going to be. I can imagine it will be really nice.

And Steve, you sound like you know what you're doing when it comes to this stuff. GOOD. I hate seeing tacky re-models. Yours sounds like it's going to come out great. Can't wait to see how it comes out.

I like to think I know what I am doing. I used to do this for a living back in another life. My fingers are crossed.
