@Chris...since I live right near you, you have no problem with AT&T? I used to have them, and it constantly dropped calles on the Seaford Oyster Bay Parkway....My sister-inlaw (in Woodbury) has no cel service for Verizon (when I'm at her house, I have no service), so she had to get AT&T.
You have no problems with it?
I used to have problems on the Wantagh Parkway going north after Southern State, but it's been much better lately. Surprisingly, I had a few issues with Verizon and the Storm. The worst coverage has been the G1 with T-Mobile. I get zero coverage in my house and the phone's Bluetooth was not very good either. Hoping to unlock it and use it on AT&T. Right now, I'm back to the Bold and coverage has been very good. I get consistent 3G in my house and around town. Never had an issue that I recall on the 135 and I'm on there every so often. I actually live about 1 minute from the 135.

EVDO, EDGE, and 3G are three different things.
EVDO is the high-speed network that Sprint and Verizon use.
T-Mobile and AT&T use EDGE and 3G. EDGE is the slower data network, and 3G is the high-speed data network, similar to EVDO.
