Just figured for those that don't sync their phones every day. I just got the update took about 30 min in total and so far the first thing I noticed is a few visual differences nothing earth shattering but also the track ball is seems to be respond better IMO. Probably other things as well but given the fact I have only had the update say 10 minutes lol, go figure.

I didn't know this until my phone started syncing and saw the message, 'DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR PHONE!' LOL!!

My phone has been slow in bringing the screen. It is most annoying.

I mean that when the phone is not used in a bit the screen goes black. When I press a key, the screen comes back on. Since the update, it takes longer for the screen to wake up.

I see....I have noticed that happens when my memory is getting low.

    Obviously not a memory issue.....

I am seeing a good number of users complaining about the same thing. Many could not deal with it and wound up downgrading back to their previous OS version.

What version did you have before the upgrade and did you have the issue before?

What was the reason you tried the upgrade to begin with?

I upgraded because the update was posted on the Blackberry desktop app. I had not planned on updating but since it was there I went ahead and did it. I do not remember what the last version was.

I suppose it is up to you now. Does the lag annoy you enough the downgrade to the previous version?

If it is just a minor annoyance then the other choice would be to look for an upgrade in the future. There are probably higher versions out there approved by other carriers and they could be loaded onto your VZW device. However, keep in mind if you require Service or support from VZW you may have to downgrade again so they will provide warranty support.

It is somewhat of an inconvenience. When you are expecting the screen to pop on when you press a button and it takes a second or two is a difference. I will see if I can work through it. If not, I may have to downgrade.

Is there any one having similar problems.?
