and OT: beside ABC i still find it hard to believe there's nothing out there yet.. i can't be the first one who wants this. unless RIM secured that part to prevent developers from "touching" it.

that's what was suggested to me BUT (there's always a but) i have probably hundreds of sms messages i want to keep..

don't think so, read from several developers that certain "things" are not accessible, like with that swipe to unlock app they copied from the iPhone, developers were able to make a "clone" but are unable to "lock"/disable the hardware buttons on the Storm..

Can't you just select the ones you want to save and click save. Can you save them to your memory card?

i do that, to my saved messages folder (not sure where it is located) but it's still not what i want.. me = picky, i want them on the laptop, in Outlook.

appears that way, i for example also read this is why the "flash light" apps for the Storm all use the screen as light source, the camera flash light is off-limt for developers..
