I wouldn't get all excited yet. From what I am seeing the 5.0 DM is to be used with handhelds that have a 5.0 OS installed.
Rumor is that newer handhelds (as yet undefined) will all have a 5.0 version OS released to try to unify the varied numbering/versions out there.
We will see.
Now RIM, how about a MAC BB Desktop?

I am pretty sure that there is an app for the iToy though, iControl maybe?
