Sound the sirens, as yet another leaked OS has surfaced. This time, it is BlackBerry OS 4.7.0.148 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530. As with any unofficial OS, it's possible that some features on your phone will not work, since this is beta software and not intended for commercial release.

Just days ago, photos leaked of the upcoming new BlackBerry Storm 2 and now word comes that RIM's BlackBerry Storm 2 might be released on Verizon Wireless as early as June. Yes, next month. According to a report, a senior Verizon employee says the company is already training their tech support on the Storm 2 and have been told to be ready for it by the end of May. No specific date was given, but they said it would be out by the end of June by the latest. Is it possible that Verizon is pushing RIM to get the Storm 2 out to compete with the June 6th release of the Palm Pre and the rumored July 17th next generation iPhone release. The Storm 2 photos look as if the device is ready for primetime, but June? Do you think RIM will have the BlackBerry Storm 2 out by the end of June? Let us know in the comments.

The river of leaked devices continues to flow through the hands of our friends at Crackberry, with the latest being photos of the BlackBerry Storm 2. The Storm 2 appears to be thinner and the buttons appear to be intergrated into the touchscreen. For a device that's still in development, this Storm 2 appears to have just come off the production line.

While we wait for an early July release for the BlackBerry Tour 9630 from Verizon, it appears that our friends up north now have some pricing on the upcoming BlackBerry Tour. A Bell internal inventory system has the BlackBerry Tour 9630 priced at $599.95. If Bell follows their traditional pricing strategy, the BlackBerry Tour 9630 could land for $199.95 (after rebates, with a 3-year contract). No word on release date for the Bell edition, but we're still looking at a possible early July release for the Verizon BlackBerry Tour 9630.

Just a few weeks ago, it appeared as if Verizon would be prompting Storm owners to update to OS 4.7.0.141. According to a report on BGR, OS 4.7.0.141 failed Verizon's testing, thus putting a hold on any potential release. It's unclear if RIM will deliver a revision or move to a release of OS 5.0. Verizon is well known for their strict testing. Vodafone released the same update last week, but that's only compatible with the BlackBerry Storm 9500.

Photos have appeared of a new BlackBerry device that is codenamed 'Onyx'. Onyx is a 3G enabled GSM BlackBerry device that is reportedly headed to AT&T later this year. T-Mobile might receive a UMA-enabled version known as the Driftwood. In the coming weeks, AT&T is expected to rollout the BlackBerry Curve 8900.The Onyx appears to be part Bold and part Curve. That's a good thing right?
