BlackBerry Bold AT&T Release Pushed To August

By: Christopher Meinck
June 24, 2008

The release of the upcoming BlackBerry Bold continues to get pushed back, with the new release date mid-August.

According the rumored report, AT&T and RIM are having software issues with battery life and overheating. It's been rumored in the past that AT&T would push back the BlackBerry Bold release to avoid any competition for the upcoming iPhone 3G scheduled for a July 11th release. Stay tuned.

Hard to know if they are concerned with the iPhone release or if the software issues are not solved yet. Everything I had seen up to recent indicated the bayyery life problem had been resolved.

Not sure about overheating.
