BlackBerry Bold Release Dates and Pricing

While the BlackBerry Bold is official, we have yet to receive official pricing and release dates. However, there are rumored release dates and pricing for a variety of carriers that started cropping up today.

As reported, AT&T will be first to carry the BlackBerry Bold with a July release date. Expect to be set back $300 for the BlackBerry Bold and that price is with a 2-year committment. Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile will all get the BlackBerry Bold in September, so not that much of a wait for those not with AT&T. AT&T's exclusive with the BlackBerry Bold will last a paltry 2 months, depending on actual release dates. With the 3G iPhone release expected in early June, don't be surprised to see the BlackBerry Bold release around the first few weeks of July. Verizon will pick up the BlackBerry Bold and then have the exclusive on the upcoming touchscreen BlackBerry, dubbed the BlackBerry Thunder. While the BlackBerry Bold is certainly stunning and iPhone-esque, it's the touchscreen "Thunder" that will be going up against the heavyweight known as the iPhone. Expect the fall to be very competitive on the shelves of Verizon and other carriers.
