Sprint Reconfirms BlackBerry Curve 8830 April Release

Despite rumors to the contrary, Sprint yesterday confirmed that the BlackBerry Curve 8830 is on schedule for release this month.

Expect the Curve to appear soon on the Sprint network in a dark gray color with a matching home screen. Sprint's version of the Curve features GPS, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth, enhanced web browsing and Sprint's very excellent SprintTV.

Heard straight from RIM that Alltel will launch Curve before Sprint or Verizon.
