SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry Announced

SlingMedia has announced that SlingPlyaer Mobile for BlackBerry is officially under development.

Coupled with a SlingBox, SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry will enable streaming video from your cable set-top box. As with previous versions of SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Mobile and Palm OS, it enables full control of your home television remotes and supports all major cable and satellite providers. Essentially, it allows you to control your TiVo while on the go. Sling is reportedly set to preview SlingPlayer for BlackBerry at CES next week. It's most likely that a beta release will follow shortly thereafter.
