RIM Offering Limited Pre-Release of BlackBerry Twitter Client

RIM rolled out a limited pre-release of their Twitter for BlackBerry app. The app was made available to a select few in the media, some of whom were provided a handful of codes to distribute. Early returns don’t appear very positive, but we’re holding out hope that RIM will make improvements before releasing to the general public. At the end of the day, you can count on RIM to provide updates to their Twitter app and it will be available for the price of free.

If you didn’t receive a download code, DON’T WORRY! Head to www.blackberry.com/twitter and sign up to receive notification when Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones is available to all via open public beta later this year.

You can get more details on the new Twitter app on the Official Blackberry Blog.
